What is on-page SEO ?

SEO is called search engine optimization. if you have a website you can rank your website on search engines(GOOGLE, YAHOO, BING, and etc). SEO is not a tool, It is the process of getting traffic from the organic(free), editorial or natural search results on search engines.

The on-page SEO is divided into three part and these three are the most important for any kind of website which is in the race of page rank on search engines.

so, the part of on-page SEO are like-

  1. Content
  2. Architecture
  3. HTML

1. Content

Content is king of any kind of fields. And it is most important factor for  SEO. so create the first strategy according to content. Content have seven parameters like- QUALITY, KEYWORD RESEARCH, KEYWORD USAGE, FRESHNESS, VERTICLES, ANSWERS, AND THIN.

  • QUALITY (All pages are well written and have substantial quality content, which is indexable. And you most important content should be in HTML text format. The images are used only in gif, jpg, or png format. These formats can be assigned “attributes” in HTML, providing search engines a text description of the visual content. The video and audio content should have an accompanying transcript if the words and phrase used are meant be indexed by the search engines.)
  • RESEARCH (Keyword is a word and phrase used are meant be indexed by the search engines. And you have researched the keywords people may use to find your content. You can discover keywords using multiple tools or sources. these are the tools like- Google planner tool and keyword.io. You should determine keywords targeting and new content creation priority. )
  • USAGE (You should create content with use of words and phrases(keywords) and use the keywords in the HTML tags and these tags are like- <title>, <h1>, <body>, <img alt=” “>, <meta name=”description” content=”keyword”>,)
  • FRESHNESS (You should find fresh and about “hot” topics before the creation of any content. The websites can take advantage of content freshness boost by producing relevant content that matches the real-time pulse of their industry.
  • VERTICLES (You should create content that performs well in vertical search. Vertical search includes google map, youtube videos, images on Pinterest and Instagram, and news.) on-page SEO
  • ANSWERS(Search engines are increasing trying to show direct answers within their search results.)on-page SEO
  • THIN (Do not create any content which is “thin” or “shallow” and lacking substance. The panda update’s domain-level penalty targets sites with a predominant amount of so-so content and essentially treats it similar to overt spam techniques.

2.Architecture

The Architecture is second most important factor for on-page SEO. It has seven parameters.

  • Crawl (You should focus on crawlable link structures.)

  • Duplication  (Do not use duplicate content or do not use copy paste from other websites. If you required any kind of content, you should manage duplicate content issues well.)
  • Mobile (You should develop your site also for mobile and tablets and your site work well for mobile devices and make use of app indexing.)

  • URLs (URL is the first impression of the website. So, You should keep some factors in your mind before the creation of URL structure.   • Cloaking (Cloaking is a trick, and search engines don’t like to be tricked. Cloaking is a SEO technique in which the content presented to the search engine spider is different from that presented to the user’s browser. It is essentially showing different content to users than to Googlebot(google search engine). This is done by delivering content based on the IP addresses or the User-Agent HTTP header of the user requesting the page.)

3.HTML

The HTML is other most important factor for on-page SEO. It has six parameters.

  • Titles (You should use the keywords in the title tag at least once. And these keywords is relevant to pages topics.)
  • Description (Note that the meta description tag does not get used by the search engines for page rankings, but rather helps to attract clicks by search from the results page. so use at least once in the meta description.)
  • Structure (The websites use structure data)to enhance listings. structured data makes it easier for web crawlers to determine basics like- name, address, place, and etc.)
  • Headers (The headlines and subheads use header tags with relevant keywords.)
  • Stuffing (Keyword stuffing is called negative on-page SEO practice. This is like paste a word many times in a row, typically the bottom of a web page. And don’t use in your website because of It page rank will be decreased.)
  • Hidden (Hidden content is also a part of negative on-page SEO practice. This is like make the text white, so it blends with a page’s background.)

CONCLUSION

On-page SEO includes proving good content, good keywords selection, putting keywords on correct places, giving appropriate title to every page, and etc. In search engines refers to factors that have an effect on your website or web page listing in natural search results.

Most of all, be consistent and patient and you’ll gradually climb to the top of google’s results.
